In my previous escapade through Harry Partridge’s animation tutorial series, I dared question his teaching methods and lashed out in a blind, frothy-mouthed frenzy of a wacky and wild night of passionate (albeit short) animating. Eventually, the exercise bested me in a hot steaming game of patience and tediousness that ended in the animation and myself both frustratingly dissatisfied and craving lasting satisfaction.
And so, I watched on only to find he’d actually covered the issue I wanted to address (seen above), which was more of a lesson on anticipation of actions and other sorts of anticipatory extremes in animation that was later admitted to be a deeper coverage of lessons from previous episodes.
Any-who, I’m gonna keep watching and trying to animate along with the series. Hopefully I’ll eventually make a video on YOUTUBE! in response to one of his tutorials and maybe, best case scenario, I’ll get some criticism from the youtube-faring public and gain some notoriety. But these plans are for a future post once I’ve got all my plans in order.
